2510G-48p failover in VMware/Watchguard-cluster

Hi,

Our current setup is two WG XTM 535 in a firecluster (Active/Passive) with a 2-port Link-aggregation from each to one 2510G-48p.
The aggregation is configured as static (Trunk).
Trunks contains 9 VLANs.

From the 2510G-48p we got three 2-port static trunks to each ESX Host in the cluster:

My idea is to add one 2510G-48p to have fail over also in the "physical switch layer":

What would be the correct way to configure the switches for this to work?

Assume that the Trunks needs to be spanned over both switches?

Thanks!

You'd need to verify that your HP switches support MLAG. If they do, your lower graphic looks about right.
