vsphere client or update utility..

Hey Guys,

I am trying to download either the vsphere client or the vsphere host update utility and i just cant find the link.

Its catch 22, vmware says i have to download vsphere client from the host, BUT, i want to upgrade my host from 3.5i to 4 so I cannot load 4 onto it.

Can any one of you give me a link please for the downloads

Hello. You could download the evaluation version of vCenter and the installer will allow you to install just the vSphere client.

Why does it say this?

VMware vCenter Server 4 and modulesVMware vCenter Server 4 and modules.

You have the following options:

• If you have a valid serial number of
  VMware vCenter Server 4 and modules
  and you have not registered it, please register it here,

Either you are not logged in or are and don't have access to vSphere. Try the evaluation link instead.

I downloaded it and tried it, it asks me for vmware esx upgrade package file. Where can I find this, remember I am evaluating all this so is it on vmware.com, i tried to look for it no joy.

Hello,

Moved to the vSphere Upgrade forum.

I was able to download from VMware a vSphere Client EXE when I downloaded vCenter for vSphere.... VMware-viclient-all-*.exe. Give that a try.
