Check this:

Failed to create http proxy: Resource is already in use: 0.0.0.0:80

Init failed: VpxdMoReverseProxy::Init()

Failed to intialize VMware VirtualCenter. Shutting down...

Forcing shutdown of VMware VirtualCenter now

Your log says, http port is already in use....Perform a netstat on your box and see which host is using this port, If you have IIS or other apps using this port, please stop their service...

Thanks,,

It's not upgrade and workign fine before , I'm suspecting when I installed the VEEAM, Update Manger and Data Recovery

It's workking actually before, after I restarted the V-Center is not working

It's there a problem with connectivity in the SQL ? or conflict in appliction that I installed

Just let me know if you need log files and let me know the location of the log you need

There are any changes/password change for your SQL VCMS DB?

  • Have you checking your DB free space, vCenter service mostly depend on your VCMS SQL, if the DB and LOGS was full. vCenter service cannot be started.

  • Did you already try to Test Source for your VCMS DSN again.

When you installing the VUM it's use existing db that VCMS used or you create in new DB?

The log file should be under...

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware Virtual Center\Logs\vpxd.log

Can you upload the log, after trying a restart of vCenter service?

Glad to know that!

Thats expected behavior, if the port is in use by other app and while installing vCenter if you dont change the port, there will be a conflict. While installing vCenter you should change the port if you have IIS or other app which is already using this port.

If you have referred VMware KB, provide some feedback on that and dont forget to award points and tick the post as answered. This will help others.

have a look into the services.msc and then make sure that

the services that is needed by VMware is running.

or else you can check if the database instance is running fine not running out of extend space.

Kind Regards,
