vSphere Client version 6.5.0.35000 Migration to version 7.0 or 8.0

Hello, I need to update some VDIs to Windows 11 so I found that I need to Update my vSphere Client version 6.5 to version 7.0 or 8.0.  My question is what is the easiest way to do it? I found that maybe 1`st I need to update to version 6.7 and then I can go to 7.0 or 8.0 to use Windows 11 in my virtual machines.

vCenter Server versions usually support ESXi hosts with the same, and the last two versions.
In your case this means that you upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7 or 7.0. An upgrade to 8.0 requires a two step upgrade.

Please make sure that you upgrade your environment in a supported order, and that the different component versions (vCenter Server, ESXi, Horizon, ...) are supported together (see https://interopmatrix.vmware.com) with each step. Please make also sure that you read https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/67077

In addition to the support matrix, verify that your hardware is supported (see https://www.vmware.com/go/hcl).
