vSphere 8 LCM: "An error occurred while connecting to depot"

I had LCM setup and have been successfully run cluster level remediation to latest VMvisor image for a vSphere8 cluster.

I imported a custom ISO into LCM, then created a new baseline from it.  Then in the updates tab at the cluster level I switched to using the new baseline. Then ran remediation. Nothing is working now in LCM. At both the cluster level and host level I'm seeing this error message popup. "An error occurred while connecting to depot".

I have removed the custom baseline and the custom ISO and set the source image for cluster updates back to the original and I'm still getting same error warning in VCSA UI. How do recover LCM back to a functional state for the cluster?

Make sure the VCSA that hosts the Depot has proper DNS entry and that the host can resolve by name not only connect via IP.   Make sure the DNS entry is correct and you can resolve the FQDN.  This fixed the issue for me.
