I found a few articles to create a Microsoft Certificate Authority Template for SSL certificate.

My root CA is installed on Windows Server 2003, I duplicated the Web Server template but the Signature is proof of origin (nonrepudiation) option is greyet out. I think it's because I have W2K3, I tested the same duplicate in my lab on Windows Server 2008 and the option is available.
My question is can I create and use this template without the signature is proof option checked?
