Hi - wierd one this...
thought I'd upgrade vcenter from 4.0U2 to 4.1 on a physical windows 2003 SP2 x64 with a local SQL 2005 express database
stuck the DVD in and started the wizard...
1. accepted the defaults on the Database Options
2. chose upgrade database on the next screen
3. chose automatic agent upgrade - then on the next screen it asks you to configure the vCenter Server service account...
oddly, the checkbox for "use system account" is greyed out and the "account name" field is pre-populated and greyed out as well - only leaving the account password fields available for change. My problem is, is that the account name that is pre-populated is wrong - it should be a domain account but of course I can't change it.
I'm kinda stuck at this point.
Any Ideas
