I was hoping someone can answer a question for me please regarding vCenter Agent Upgrade
When choosing the vCenter Agent Upgrade, Would choosing automatic require the hosts to be rebooted? I assume the answer is no, but would like your verification. I have attached a print screen for you to see.
What is best practice, Automatic or manual. I have 1 datacenter, 3 clusters. 1 cluster 5.0 other 2 clusters 4.1
Would choosing automatic require the hosts to be rebooted?
reboot is not required..
If you choose manual you have to goto each host and then re-connect the host so that the VPXA agent gets upgraded and connected back to the vCenter

Thank you for your reply! do you recommend automatic or manual?
I would like to recommend VPXA agent automatic. It will upgrade the agent on the hosts automatically and hosts will get added to VC successfully.
Thanks,
Atul
Automatic would be the best option..
