vCenter 5.5 - AD users cannot logon

hello all,

last week I've deinstalled vCenter 5.1 and reinstalled vCenter 5.5 with a simple installation.

all went fine and the AD users were able to login via vSphere client to vCenter: tosay only some of the AD user are able to login.

I've installed from VMware-VIMSetup-all-5.5.0-2105955-20140901-update02.iso

Any hints?

Thank you

You did inplace upgrade or fresh install?  and what is different about the accounts that cannot login.  Are all the users on the same authentication sources? Like same active directory.
