Need your help to understand the below query.
We have two vCenter 4.1 servers configured in linked mode. There is separate database server - which is hosting the databases of both the VCs. On both the locations we have 10 node HA & DRS cluster which is having distributed switch. Now are planning to update both the VCs to 5.5.
Since we are facing some Windows level issues on both the VCs, we have planned to create new Windows instance for VC - where we will do the installations of vSphere 5.5 and will use the existing database. Can someone help me to know - what will be the impact on distributed switch configuration and database- if we use the existing database.
