Evening,

The simple answer is always make a database backup before your start and snapshot your vcenter if you can.  The process is a bit of a pain but I have done it multiple times.   Just make sure you uninstall in the backwards order from your install.   (Web services -> Vcenter -> Inventory -> SSO)
