problem with start installer

Hi,

I'm trying install ESXi 4.0.0-164009 on computer with Xenon processor on Intel mainboard SE7501CW2. But installer hangs, during booting. The ISO's MD5 is correct.

Welcome to the forums - Have you confirmed that your hardware is on the HCL - http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php? Checking particulalry the I?O devices like storage and NIC - if it is not you can check the site vm-help.com as that it has informaiton on how to get non-supported to work -

Do you have enabled VT function in BIOS (the name coud be different)?

The "SE7501CW2" sounds like old stuff for 533mhz XEONs which dont offer support EM64T aka Intel64. ESX 4(i) can only installed on CPUs which have 64bit support.
