kickstart 3.5 and 4.0

Can I use the same kickstart file from 3.5 for ESX 4.0 ? IS there any additional things I need to add to the file?

Moved to vSphere Upgrade and Install forum.

WHile it may be possible to do as you desire, it is not something I would do for the very first install. KS has changed somewhat. It also depends on what you have down within the KS file.
