Hi!

How can I  upgrade esxi 4.1 to esxi 4.1 u1  witch Update Manager  on VCenterServer

I have esxi 4.1, and VCS 4.1 u 1

you need configure a baseline, download patches with VUM via plugin in vcenter and attach this base line in hosts, check compliance. and apply.

Put simply, you either update using the Vsphere Udate Utilty if the esx server is standalone or use the VCentre Update Manager if it is being managed

you too can download only bunlde patch http://downloads.vmware.com/d/details/hypervisor_esxi41u1/ZCV0YnRkKipiZColcA==

in components you can see details patch to upgrade direct in host with vum or manualy.

download this patch, transfer to host, put host in maintance mode and run esxupate --bundle=PATCH.zip update
