error
Hi
Have you checked with HCL before upgrading?
https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/sim/interop_matrix.php#upgrade&solution=2
HI,
Can you please share the content of the certificate?
Can you please confirm POISVCS1 is in the cert?
Do you have lower/upper case differences in the certificate and the dns?
DNS reverse also added?
FQDN or Short name was used in the migration tool?
Thanks,
upload migration logs

Hello,
Let us know is the issue resolved or you are still looking for answers.
Have you tried resetting to default certificates and run the migration assistant tool ?
Can you scrub the sensitive details and upload the logs or provide the SR number if you have opened one with VMware support.
Regards,
Jonathan
We have already upgraded 3/4 so we do know that we are capable of doing the upgrade. I just switched over from night shift to days so this is my first migration.
I wish I could share the content, one reason why I am not a fan of where I work because it is difficult to find answers or help. The application cer is all in lower case but has all three short name, FQDN and IP.
The OS cert has all three short name, long name, and IP. The only different is the OS cert has upper case FQDN where the Application cert has lower case FQDN.
I am curios if the certs can be case sensitive?
That is the last error I receive from the logs
Error messages: Error: FQDN: POISVCS1 is not present in certificate subject alt names
Resolution: Use an ip address or dns name that is present in the certificate subject alt names or regenerate ssl certificates for sso before continuing

we are trying to see if making the certs look exactly correct from the OS and Application cert. They both have different upper and lower case, so we are curious if it could be case sensitive.
We might have to do a full rebuild on this section
For different VMware products certificate requests looks different. Usually the following works:
CN = fqdn
[SAN]
fqdn
shortname
IP
This is just a part of the csr, not all field.
Check the app hostname locally, and if its lowercase then lowercase should be used, same for uppercase. Just to be sure.
