I need to perform an orchestrated upgrade of ESXi using Update Manager, however, my vcenter server and update manager client computer are on isolated network segments that are not allowed out to the internet. How can I download patches and stage them into Update Manager manually? That is to say, I wish to download the patches from a workstation that has internet connectivity and then upload them to Update Manager.
Please assist!
Many thanks.

You can also just manually download the patch bundles from VMwares web site and manually import them into update manager on your isolated network.
