convert/migrate ESX 2.5 clients to Vsphere

Hi, I'm stuck. I need to migrate/convert ESX 2.5 clients (NT, 2k) to Vsphere. It seems like the vCenter converter 4.3.0 is unable to convert those VMs. I've tried copying the vmx and vmdk files out of their datastores and into vsphere datastores. It just won't work. Do you have any other suggestions? I've tried converting them as powered on machines as well. I am unable to connect to vcenter 2.5 for the migration.

Thank you,

Hello.

First, the latest version of vConverter has dropped support for WinNT and Win2K. You can alway download an older 3.x version that will support those guest OS.

Manually copying the vm files to your vSphere host will not work as there are differences in their format.

You should be able to migrate without problems with vConverter 3.
