Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi there. I have recently installed VMware vSphere 6.0 and I am trying to install the Windows Server and I get to the point where it says it can't find any storage.

Any suggestions?

The ISO image seems to be fine. I am wondering if it has something to do with the storage on the vSphere server?

Do I need to change the hard drive type?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Exact message:

We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click to load driver.

For those having the same issues you need to load the SCSI drivers from the FLOPPY drive.

assuming you have created VM in ESXi and then trying to install Windows Server.

have you assigned Paravirtual scsi adapter to this VM?

If yes, you need to provide pvscs drivers during installation. During installation attach pvscsi.flp from datastore/Vmtools.

then load these drivers from floppy.
