Windows 2000 vmxnet3

We are on:

vsphere client 5.5.0, build 2067769

VMware vcenter server 5.5.0, build 4180647

We have a mixed bag of operating systems and seeing if I can upgrade current vnics to vmxnet3 with updated vmtools installed?

Hi!

VMware Tools 10.0.12 is the latest one with legacy OS support.

So feel free to update to this version. It's compatible with all ESXi versions starting from ESXi 5.5

What legacy operating systems are you running? Unless it's older than Windows Vista / Windows Server 2000 it's ok to use new versions of VMware Tools.
