Which DBMSs are supported by VC 5.1?

$Subject, basically.

Should be in the release notes, but these just point at the interop matrix page (why -- does this change so often??). This page did not know 5.1 until a few hours ago, and right now it shows no database as supported.

Hello,

I just went to http://partnerweb.vmware.com/comp_guide2/sim/interop_matrix.php? for the matrix and it still shows no DB support for 5.1.

Is there some other web page you are referring to?

Thank you.

Thanks, it works for me.

To save all some visual grepping here is my condensed version (as of now):

  • IBM DB2 Enterprise 9.7.2 64/32
  • MSSQL 2008 SP2 Standard/Enterprise/Datacenter 32/64
  • MSSQL 2008 SP3 Standard 64
  • MSSQL 2008 SP3 Enterprise 32
  • MSSQL 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise 32/64
  • MSSQL 2005 SP4 Standard/Enterprise/Datacenter 32/64
  • Oracle 11g R2 Standard One/Standard/Enterprise 32/64
  • Oracle 11g R1 Standard/Enterprise 32/64
  • Oracle 10g R2 Standard One/Standard/Enterprise 32/64

Some curious omissions that were supported under 5.0U1:

  • MSSQL 2008 SP3 Enterprise 64
  • MSSQL 2008 SP3 Standard 32

Oh, and MSSQL and DB2 still seem to be unsupported by the VC appliance. That is not pointed out in the interop matrix (it is for 5.0).
