Web service address

hi everybody, i need to know the meaning of "Web service address", and how to install it in virtual center 4

(it's part of the installation of VC 4 ???? )

Have you pointed your browser at the name / IP address of the vcenter server?

yes, but what i really need is pair the Virtuakl center with another application.

the application needs the web services URL, i put in that field the https://myserverIP , but it give an error.

however when i use a browser with the same URL, shoe me the page with no problems.
