Virtual Machine from VM Ware enterprise (version not sure) compatible with VM ware ESXi 6.0

Hello, does anyone know if a Virtual Machine from VM Ware enterprise (maybe it is version 5, not sure) is compatible with VM ware ESXi 6.0? Can I just make a snapshot on VM Ware enterprise and copy it to VM Ware ESXi 6.0?

The VM will most likely run on ESXi 6 without modifications. There might be some exceptions where some minor modification may be required though.

Anyway you can migrate the VM either using VMware Converter doing a V2V (Virtual-2-Virtual) conversion, export the VM to an OVF on the old host, and import it on the new one, or - depending on your backup method, and application - use your latest backup and restore it on the new host.
