VSphere4 HCL?

Hi

Is there any documentation (oficial or not ) about hardware approved for VSphere4 (HCL or a prototype)

I mean a list of hardware you know for sure VMware supports?

What's about present harware running ESX3.5 all apply

We are working on labs supporting VSphere4 before next fall:p

Thanks for your support

Currently VMware have yet to publish the vSphere HCL, but some information is out there. We do know that CPU wise it will be 64bit only, so it is likely that ant ESX 3.5 HCL server with 64bit CPU will be on the HCL, unless it is old and it's maker doesn't wise to spend the time.

If you are asking about arrays, I would venture to say anything recent enough will be there, but not necessarily every thing possible will be listed at GA. It took a while after the GA of 3.0 for most systems to be listed.

You might want to try contacting your prefered vendor to see where they are, and what they are planning.

vSphere 4.0 HCL list wont be published until the product goes GA. As VMware certainly doesn't want to give advantage to some hardware vendors over others by pre-releasing the information.
