VSphere 6.5 Upgrade external PSC

We currently run multiple VCSA 6.0 appliances each with their local (geographically) external PSC's.  How does the upgrade tool deal with the PSC appliances, are they upgraded prior to the VCSA are new ones deployed?

VCSA 6.0 to VCSA 6.5 uses the 'regular' upgrade process and not the migration tool. You have to upgrade the PSC's and VCSA seperately.

Is their a specific sequence ? i.e. PSC's first and then VCSA's..?

‌This is the update process for vSphere 6. I suspect it will be similar for 6.5, and VMware will likely create another KB for 6.5 or add 6.5 into the associated products for this KB.
