VMware vSphere Client update error

hi

I installed "VMware vSphere Client" on windows 11 to connect to my server with esxi installed. but when I want to login it gives the following error and none of the options work

Wow, you're on an old version if you're still running the Windows client - you know it's not supported any more right? (ie. that version of vSphere)

What version of ESXi are you running?

As pointed out already that's a really old version and no longer supported. If you choose to persist with that version, from memory (dim and distant), that version might require .NET Framework 3.5 or even earlier, so that might be worth a try if you don't have that installed on Windows 11 (not installed by default), possibly Visual C++ and Visual J# runtimes too.

If you're actually using a newer version of ESXi, have you tried accessing the host UI via your web browser? https://ip-address-of-host/ui
