VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit for 3 hosts

VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit for 3 hosts $560

We currently have 3 VMWare Vsphere hypervisor hosts (2 procs each, 30-40GB of RAM on each), the free version.
Would the "VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit for 3 hosts" above allow me to upgrade the hosts to VMWare Vsphere for $560?
The price seems pretty low so I'm just checking to see if I'm missing something.

With vSphere Essential you have a VAM Limit of 192GB.

Also look here.

yes, it is possible. But you have to keep in mind the vRAM limitations.

For some reason I think I encountered a Virtual CPU limit with a guest on ESXi 5 Essentials.  I tried to assign more than 2 vCPU's (Actually 4 to an SBS 2011 guest) (my host has a single 5520) and the vSphere client said it couldn't be done due to licensing restrictions.. Can it be?  Was a month or 2 ago so my memory of the event may be off.

I've got the same package for v4 and much to my dismay I had no support when I thought it was included.

I had to spend 500 bucks on a per incident support request so keep this in mind.

you simply need to puchase SnS (support and subscription) when you purchase the license. Essentials / Essentials Plus is fully supported ...

the number of CPUs you can assign to a guest is limited by the number of CPUs/Cores in the host. If you have a single 5520 (pbly dual-cores?) then you would only be able to create a 2-proc guest ....
