VMware vSphere 4 Essentials Plus Bundle

Hi everybody,

before I will buy a license, i would to know your Opinion an also want to know if I am right.

So if I would buy a VMware vSphere 4 Essentials Plus Bundle License I can:

- Install an vcenter Essentials Server

- Can put max 3 hosts into it

- ANd each host of the can have max 2 physical CPUs, with max 6 cores per physical CPU

Am I right ?

Right... same as Essential bundle.

Plus VMware HA and Datarecovery.

Any chance you can use one host with 4CPU's instead of three separate hosts?

The answer is no.

See at page 7 of http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/vsphere_pricing.pdf

They provide all-in-one license solutions and include licenses for three physical servers (_up to two processors each_)
