VCenter Upgrade

hello...

    Is it easier to uninstall vcenter and all its components completely; rather than do an in-place upgrade then replace the certificates( this is part of the remediation process for heart bleed )...

    assuming of course that everything configure in the current / existing vcenter is in the database.

The bug only affects OpenSSL heartbleed to upgrade vCenter and ESXi 5.5.

See this KB to see all vmware products affected by this bug.

The KB for the version 5.5 are:

vCenter5.5

ESXi5.5

When you do the upgrade of the VC, if you update the tables in the DB. Before the upgrade the VC, I recommend you do a full backup of the DB.
