Upgrading vcenter to 6.7 fails with database in-place upgrade

VMware VirtualCenter failed firstboot. Database in-place upgrade failed. Please see vcdb_inplace.err and vcdb_inplace.out for details.
 
we have tried to run script before upgrade and during when the error occurs but with no luck.
 
anyone that had this and have a solution forward.

Hi,

 

solution to our inplace error was to truncate tabels mentioned in this article.

Hi

Can you please share more information such as what you see in "vcdb_inplace.err" and what kind of migration would you attempt to do?

Hi,

 

we are doing an upgrade from 6.5-6.7 and it fails when it is around 60% we have checked the database prior to upgrade and all tables is owned by VC.
