Upgrading from ESXi 4.0.261974 to ESXi 4.1.0 errors with "upgrade package validation Failed"

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade an ESXi 4,0.x host to WSXi 4.1 using the vSphere Host update utility. It first downloads patches as expected, I select the host, then select "Upgrade Host", then I select the "Upgrade-from ESXi4.0-to-ESXi4.1.xxxxxx.zip" file which I have downloaded. After a while I get the message "upgrade package validation failed (failed to read the upgrade package metadata file which is in a temporary users folder where it was unzipped to)", and the update fails. I tried this with the client installed on an XP and on a Windows 7 box with the same issue, and I tried a new download without any positive results. What am I doing wrong?
