Upgrading VCSA 6.7 HA Cluster with an Embedded PSC by Using the GUI

VCSA_HA_ManualDeployment.png

Hi All,

We are planning to upgrade our vSphere 6.7 to 7.x and currently going through the prerequisites and planning. Our vCenter is a High Availability cluster with embedded PSC.

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vcenter.upgrade.doc/GUID-98EB2800-DED8-4268...

As per the link, the procedure is to upgrade the active vCenter HA node. Once the active node is upgrade, auto deployment creates new Passive and Witness nodes using clone operation. we have not setup Auto deployment and it has to be manual deployment. Would like to know the process of cloning the passive and witness virtual machines after the upgrade. I see the current witness VM has low resources when compared to active and passive. Thanks in advance for your inputs
