I am planning on upgrading our two ESX 4 hosts to update 2 that are currently running the initial release. I have created a baseline to include releases on 6/10/2010 or newer, to include U2 and subsequent updates. Is this a good solution to skip U1 and its releases? I also remember there being an issue with U1, where if you were running the HP systems management homepage, your system might not reboot, has this issue been resolved? I also would like the update the firmware of our HP servers, should I update firmware after or before the U2 upgrade? Thanks
