Upgrade esx 3.5 to 4

So I am hearing that I can upgrade my current ESX 3.5 to 4 using the update manager.....

When I go to create a new baseline in UM, I dont see esx 4 as an option.

If anyone has experience with this let me know how the process went and how you used UM.

Thanks for any help...

you have to upgrade vCenter to 4 as well as VUM. Then you can use VUM to upgrade you ESX Host by supplying the ISO File

Is the vcenter upgrade pretty straight-forward?

yes, it's a very easy upgrade. Just make sure you have a good backup of your DB.

During the vCenter upgrade remember to specify the existing DSN connection (to upgrade you DB schema and keep your data).
