Upgrade ESXi 4.1 to 5.0

Hello everyone,

I have ESXi 4.1 and i need to upgrade it to 5.0 version for compability with other ESXi 5.0.

Can i do this upgrade with help Upgrade Manager PowerCLI?

And if i can, could you describe how to do it, please.

iw123 thanks for links, it's really helpful.

But i want to know the possibility to do this in the first place with PowerCLI.

Because by unknown reason i don't have Upgrade Manager in my vSphere client.

I am not quite sure if you can use PowerCLI to update to ESXi 5.0, Alternativey you can vihostupdate to perform the upgrade
