Upgrade ESXi 3.5 to Vsphere ESXi 4.0

hi,

i have a host vmware ESXi 3.5, hardware Fujitsi 2 Processor AMD Opteron, with 32 GB Ram, 2TB Local Storage with 4 VM Windows 2003 and 9 XP Professional. Work very fine, there is a solution to migrate to Vspehere ESXi 4.0 ?

For data recovery i use weeam, backup data to NAS.

VMware ESXi 4.0 is certified to run on a broad range of 64-bit hardware.

Confirm your hardware meets the 64bit CPU with AMD's virtualization technology.

Also check the HCL for your hardware.

If those are confirmed you should have no problem upgrading to vShpere4

Just run the VMware Host Update Utility and connect to your host. It will check the host and tell you if an upgrade is possible. You can upgrade from the Update Utility with one press on your mouse button.

If you have Free ESXi you can use host update utility, otherwise update manager will upgrade ESXi to 4.0 for you.

Yes, vSphere client can manage both ESX 3.5 and 4.0 hosts.
