Unable to launch console. Action ends up in freezing client. Need forcefull exit.

Hello Experts,

Greetings!

I recently upgraded from vSphere 5.0 to vSphere 5.5. (Desktop client not using web client)

I am unable to open console.

1st Workflow,

1. Select VM in inventory -> Right Click menu -> Open console.

2. Select a VM and click console tab.

On both instances vSphere freeze and require closure from task manager.

Any work around?

      • You reload.vmx file without removing the virtual machine from the inventory.
