Sloooooooooow VCSA 6.5

I replaced a vCenter 5.5 with a VCSA 6.5.

I simply deployed the VCSA so there are very few things to confngure.

The user interface of the VCSA looks extremely slow.

As it looks like a black box, what can I do in order to troubleshoot performance?

SSH into the VCSA and run vimtop see if you have any performance issues.

The speed is definitely not comparable to the C# client.

Anyway, which deployment size did you select in the wizard? IMO one should at least select "small" rather than "tiny" even for a very small environment, so that the appliance has sufficient memory.

I can attest to this. I have seen a few instances where someone sets the installation to tiny and then a few months later we had to replace the appliance due to poor performance or corruption.
