I have installed ESXi 5.5 on my test server and I'm managing it using vSphere Client 5.5 on Windows 8. I installed Windows Server 2012 R2 on ESXi and I wanted to install the role Hyper-v but when I do that I get the error message "Hypervisor is already running". I did some research but I couldn't find any clear instructions to overcome this issue since I'm beginner to this field. I want to know how I can install Hyper-v on my Windows Server 2012 R2 installation. I would be appreciate if anyone can give me some clear instructions on that. Thanks.
As per me, it should work just fine:

Hyper-V refuses to install in a VM. The only way to get around this is to hide the fact that you are running in a VM. We have a specific guest OS type for this (Windows Hyper-V). Unfortunately, when you hide the fact that you are running in a VM, you can't use any Windows Enlightenments. Without Windows Enlightenments, there are some timing issues with Hyper-V guests. For this reason, the Hyper-V guest OS type is unsupported.
