Rename Datacenter?

Hi,

i would like to rename my datacenter. Is this possible without impact to the underlying Cluster, Hosts and vms? I've tried in my test Environment without any Problems, but before I'll do in production I would like to be sure there are no known issues.

The Environment is:

VSphere 5.1.0

Datacenter

Cluster having about 22 Hosts ESXi-5.1.0-7997

about 120 VMs.

It will not impact your underlying infrastructure. you can go ahead and do it.

It will create problems only if you are using View.
