Remediate task very long, how to check it ?

Hi, I have launched a remediation task this morning (5 hours ago) and it's still on 25%

How can I check what's the system is doing ? Is there any log file to monitor this task ?

As I upgrade an esx via WAN connection, is it normal ?

Try the log file here on the host with the command:

tail -f /var/log/vmware/esxupdate.log

That will give you a running commentry as it changes.

Especially over a slow link, I tend to use the Stage patches option to get all of them downloaded and on the hosts, then I can just remediate quickly as there is no further download needed.
