QUERY ON MEMORY OVERHEAD

hai

on a vsphere machine i have created 2 vm's both of win2003 enter 32 bit but for node 1 i gave 3gb ram and node 2 gb ram

the memory over head on node 2 is 120mb where as the over head on node 1 is 140 mb

why is this difference ?:|

Well, the more memory you add to a virtual machine the more overhead there will be as ESX needs "some room" to do the actual virtualization for each VM...
