Hello,
I use vsphere 4.1 to manage my own vmware infraestructure.
When i need to send signals as cntrl+alt+sup, I use VM->guest-> send ctrl+alt+sup.
It works fine.
But for instance when I need to send other signal as cntrl+alt+F1 (SO linux) to open other session as console, How could I send this signal ????
Thanks a lot!!
Jose.
Jose,
If you are looking to get the Linux Text console, try Shift + Contrl+Alt + F1 - F6 and come back to graphics use Alt + F7
make sure that you have VMtools installed
Thanks

From my Linux knowledge, to open a new session its Ctrl+F1, Ctrl+F2, Ctrl+F3, . . .
( If i am wrong, correct me. Otherwise click on "Correct Answer" )

the above mentioned would do fine, another way is to you remote connect via ssh or telnet to manage your linux.
Thank you very much for your answers.
Now, I know What my problem is. I have:
- SO OpenSuse as host SO.
- Vmware player with guest SO Windows XP
- Inside Windows XP I've installed vSphere 4.1
- I can manage my MV called "Pepito" with vSphere. Option -> "open console"
When I type Cntr+ALT+F1-6 open a new session CUI in my host SO instead Of my Virtual Machine called Pepito.
I think that it is my problem. If I had installed host SO windows XP , It would run ok.
Regardss
Jose.
