Hi,
There are 3 DELL Servers (2 of them are running R530 and 1 is running R900).
When we attempt to upgrade those Hosts from ESXi 5.5 to ESXi 6, we find that the R900 is no longer supported.
Just wonder what is the best way for us to do - Keep on using ESXi 5.5 or upgrade 2 of them to ESXi 6 and leave the remaining one on ESXi 5.5 ? We don't have any intention to replace the R900 in the near future.
Thanks
If all three Host are part of ESXi Cluster then you need to have all Hosts at same version level. So you have to keep all of them on ESXi 5.5
But if you are using these host as a standalone ESXi Host then you can upgrade two of the Host to ESXi 6 and leave R900 on ESXi 5.5
Thanks,
Haridas

Thanks for your advice.
We will keep using vSphere 5.5 in the mean time.
