Older hardware with ESXi 6.5

I have a dual Xeon x5660 server I'd like to use in a lab - but can't find the ESXi 6.5 install ISO anymore....

Is there an archive for it somewhere?

ESXi with a free vSphere Hypervisor licence is only available for supported versions, currently 7.x and 8.x but not 6.x.

Hi @DCF72 you can find ESXi 6.5 ISOs here:

Download VMware vSphere - VMware Customer Connect

or find your HW vendor custom iSOs here:000047-Window.png

Download VMware vSphere - VMware Customer Connect

don't forget kudos if this helped.

Thanks! That link reefers to a download page where my account isn't authorized to download the software. Clicking the download trial takes me to VMWare 8 download trial, and this hardware is too old to run that....

Any other links?

I can choose the needed version. Try choosing v8 to download (not 7), then change the dropdown from 8 to 7.
