No Hardware Acceleration after U1

Hello,

after installing yesterday the U1 of vSphere and vCenter we tried to install a new Windows 2008 R2 Server with paravirtualized Controller for the Bootdisk.

All worked fine (the VM does not freeze) but still the Hardware Acceleration is full activated after the installation of the VM-Tools the mouse judders and it seems that there is no Hardware Acceleration .

Any ideas ?

Yours sincerley

Sven

The video and mouse accelerated driver are still installed with VMware Tools.

The paravirtualized Controller for the Bootdisk is only for the SCSI virtual disk.

I know this :-).

We have the VMware Tools from U1 installed and the slider for the Hardware Acceleration is on the right side so it should be fully activated. But the mouse behave like there is no acceleration.

Same here. If you look for the video driver, you will find a Microsoft Video driver. The VMware Tools for W2K8 r2 doesn't provide a VMware Video Driver.
