Newbie Question: ESXi 6.0 Free vs. vSphere Essentials Kit

I currently have one host server running ESXi 5.5 (Free edition), hosting mainly a lab infrastructure with some SQL Servers and Windows Workstations.

I am considering upgrading the vSphere Essentials Kit and was wondering what the additional benefits I would get from the paid essentials kit vs. ESXi 6.0 Free.

So far I can think of the following:

- Ability to install on two additional host servers (however I do not really have this requirement at the moment)

- Compatibility with VMWare backup software like VEEAM and ALTARO. (This would be beneficial)

What other benefits would Essentials Kit offer for a single host server environment that would be attractive enough to compel one to go for it vs. the free edition?

Thank you for any feedback.

Another great benefit will the the vCenter Server that will add a lot of features and allow you manage all three host. Take a look here some some additional benefits: http://www.vladan.fr/esxi-free-vs-paid/

Maybe not a big deal for one host, but you'll also be able to run Update Manager - it will be a good way to know when updates are available.
