Need to setup VM with Windows Server 2000 guest OS in vSphere 5.5 - Is it not supported?

Just started a new job and my new employer has two old Windows Server 2000 machines that they are slowly moving away from. As you can imagine the hardware is old too.

I want to P2V these machines and get them running on reliable hardware, but when I go to setup the destination VM in vSphere 5.5 I don't see Windows Server 2000 as an option. I can't find anything anywhere that says 5.5 doesn't support that guest OS anymore, in fact I've found where it does appear to support it.

What am I missing?
