Need help removing cluster from vcenter.

I have a vCenter system that has three clusters in it.  We are decommissioning one of the clusters.  I have removed all but the last host, but cannot remove the last host so I can remove the cluster.  The hosts were all running a VDS, and I know I have to remove that from each host before I can remove the host, but I cannot remove the VDS on the last host either.  There are a few replica objects left in the cluster which we don't care about but I cannot delete those either.

How do I remove the VDS from the last host in a cluster.  I'm hoping I will then be able to remove the last host, and then finally the cluster.

Hi dereksmall1,

If you don't care about the VDS, you can restore the VSS from host GUI console from Direct console.

https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.esxi.install.doc/GUID-7EAF0251-1EEA-49DC-AD...

You will loss your network configuration and will have to reconfigure it from scratch but it will erase your VDS configuration.

Bear in mind that this is depending how is used this last node?

Do you have some others DVS with VM in production?
