A head swap on the Netapp Appliances has resulted in VCenter Datastore IP addresses landing up on the other side of the Netapp Storage cluster switch, causing latency. Also, it's an upgraded cluster switch(Cisco to Broadcom).
We are migrating to UCSx now and adding to that from one VCenter cluster to another(same VCenter) (M3 to M6).
We need to change to the correct or other NFS Data LIF's (NetApp) IP address to reduce latency caused by the Head Swap.
Can I add the existing Datastores (with the incorrect IP addresses) into the new UCSx VCenter Prod Cluster with the correct IP Addresses and cold migrate (EVC mode is different) without any issues - providing all virtual machines in those datastores in the current VCenter( Old Prod) are powered off?
