Hi,
I have successfully upgraded 2 out of the 3 vCenter's that are connected in Enhanced Linked Mode. The third vCenter server is failing validation in Upgrade Stage 2.What am I missing?

Hey, hope you are doing fine
How did you upgrade the external PSC's? Those no longer exist on vSphere 7.0
Hi be1977,
Well this is to inform you that the topology you are trying to achieve for 7.0 vsphere environment is not a supported topology.
If you have snapshots or backup please kindly revert or restore accordingly and first run convergence to take the topology to embedded nodes and then try the upgrade to 7.0.

Dear sudeshnas ,
can you please clarify why this is not supported?
From my understanding this should work by specifying the already converted vCenter as the partner.

Hi Nicolas,
Thank you for the link. I followed the steps in that blog and the VMware upgrade guide: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/vsphere-vcenter-server-70-upgrade-guide.pdf
The upgrade process worked perfectly for the first and second vCenters. They both upgraded without issue and now have embedded PSC's. No where did I find any caveats or limitations regarding upgrading a 3rd or more vCenters.
Have you found a resolution to your issue. I also have 3x vCenter 6.5 in Linked mode and want to begin upgrading to vCenter 7.0. I will probably keep my hosts running on 6.5 for a while before I upgrade them. Do you think that will be an issue?
Also, if I upgrade my vCenters one at a time, will that break my linked mode? I was planning to upgrade two of them at the same time during the Thanksgiving Holiday, then do the third during the Christmas Holiday.
Will this cause problems?
Did you tried to connect "third" vCenter "first" or "second" already upgraded vCenter with embedded PSC? From manual I can read, that you have to create a "ring" topology. This means that you should connect it to "second" vCenter and after upgrade close the ring manually and link PSC1 and PSC3.
My case is with 2 Vcenter and 4 psc in total. Which is the procedure? I don't find nothing
